Downeast ATV is celebrating four years of offering guided tours and rentals on the Sunrise Trail. Our registered Maine Guides take you off-roading to enjoy expansive ocean views, through beautiful Blueberry Fields, and into quaint Maine towns along the way. Each tour is customized to your skill-level and desired riding. Explore stunning Downeast vistas of pine trees, ponds, wildlife, and fresh air!

The Sunrise Trail

This multi-use gravel trail begins in Ellsworth, ME and spans 85 miles north to Dennysville, ME with a network of thousands of miles of trails branching into the woods, climbing mountains, and winding around lakes. The trail is utilized by runners, cyclists, snowmobiles, and ATVs depending on the time of year. To learn more, check out sunrisetrail.org

Registered Maine Guides

All of our tour guides are required to maintain their Maine Guide License. Becoming a Maine Guide is an intense program with extremely high standards. The Maine Professional Guides Association states, "Registered Maine Guides have a long and colorful history along with being recognized around the world as the gold standard in outdoor skills and knowledge. Maine Guides were first registered by the state in 1897. The Maine Professional Guides Association is made up of Registered Maine Guides who strive to enhance the standards of guiding. They are professionals dedicated to quality, ethical outdoor experiences."
